Mouth watering Reciepes
Chicken Sookha


Chicken - 3 lb Cut into 1-2 inch pieces , (with some small cut bones in)
1/2 teaspoon whole cumin seeds
Red Chilli Powder - 2tsp
1 finely chopped green chilli
2 dry red chillies
Salt - 1 tsp or According To Taste
Haldi or Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
2" cube of fresh ginger peeled and Cut in to very small pieces
Dhaniya Powder - 1tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
5 tbsp.veg oil
1 onion - chopped
1 onion - cut in form of long pieces
1" stick of cinnamon
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp black pepper
Cashew Nut pieces
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp

Clean the chicken pieces, wash thoroughly and drain the water.
Marinate the chicken pieces with the mix (Red Chilli Powder, little Salt, Haldi, Ginger Garlic Paste) for 1 hour.
Put Marinated Chicken in steamer & steam for 1/2 hour. Chicken should be well cooked leaving most of its oil in the steamers water.
Heat oil in the pan add cumin seeds, onions, green chillies.
Fry onions till it turn to brown colour.
Add ginger and garlic paste, Dhaniya Powder , bay leaves, Cashews, Salt, Chilli Powder, chopped green chillies ,Dry red Chillies, ginger pieces & fry for few more minutes.
Add the marinated steamed chicken and fry for sometime. Do not add any water.
Stir it, cover the pan and let it cook for 15 minutes.
Remove the cover of the pan and garnish it with coriander leaves & lemon juice

Masala Bread


6 slices of bread
6 tbsp grated coconut
2 tbsp puffed channa dal
1 1/2 coriander seeds
1 tbsp poppy seeds
5 red chillies
Marble sized tamarind
2 tbsp coriander leaves
4 small onions
3 flakes garlic
Salt to taste
Ghee for frying

Grind all the masala ingredients to a fine paste.
Smear on sliced bread on both sides and shallow fry in a little ghee or oil till brown

Cabbage pakoras

1 small cabbage finely chopped
4 green chillies chopped
2 cup gram flour
1 cup rice flour
1 small bunch coriander leaves finely chopped
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
6 teaspoon salt (adjust the amount according to taste)
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon asafoetida


Mix the above ingredients with enough water to a thick batter.
Heat oil.With a small rounded spoon drop the batter in the hot oil
and deep fry under medium heat until golden brown

Puri Recipe


Wheat flour
Asafoetida water
2 tsp Sugar
Ghee or oil
Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:
Mix the flour with 1 tsp table salt, 1 tsp ghee and half cup of water.
Prepare dough by kneading properly.
Make small balls out of the dough.
Sprinkle them with wheat flour.
Roll out puris from these balls.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich


[size=18] 6 Boneless chicken breasts
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 Ginger (grated)
2 Garlic flakes (crushed)
2 Red ball peppers
1/2 Cup mayonnaise
6 Bread slices

Cooking Instructions:
Cut chicken into pieces.
Mix olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic and grated ginger well.
Marinate chicken with this mixture for 1 hour.
Grill the marinated chicken pieces till they get cooked properly.
Spread mayonnaise on bread slices.
Top with a grilled chicken piece and red ball pepper.
Top with a slice of bread.
Grilled Chicken Sandwich is ready

Chicken Tikka


Boneless and skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp Tomato paste
2 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tsp Ground coriander
2 tsp Curry powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
2 Cups plain yoghurt
4 Finely chopped garlic cloves
1 Inch fresh ginger, chopped
2 tsp Ground cumin

Cooking Instructions:

Mix all ingredients except chicken together in a bowl and refrigerate it overnight.
Add chicken (cut in cubes) and marinate it in the above-mentioned bowl.
Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Bring chicken to room temperature and skewer on bamboo skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes).
Place on baking tray and bake in oven for 20 to 35 minutes.
3 tbsp of butter can be drizzled over for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
