How to protect yourself from Fraudsters/Thieves on Forums
I am making this thread in response to a couple of unfortunate events(robberies) which took place in deals which were made on forums especially the go4b one.

I know that our community is more of a close knitted one and such events are more unlikely to take place here than any other forum but even then to keep our members on the safer side here are some tips from my side.

Common sense is

1)Deal PREFERABLY with older members or members which are known by other CONSIDERABLY OLDER members or moderators.

2)ALWAYS inquire about the GENUINENESS of BUYER or SELLER on forum. Keep in mind that I am talking about GENUINENESS only and not how he deals, etc. Just that whether is he real or a fraudster.

3)ALWAYS meet with the BUYER or SELLER in busy places such as MARKETS but preferably places like McDONALDS etc

4)ALWAYS & ALWAYS take a couple of FRIENDS with you. This is MOST IMPORTANT.

5)DO NOT EVER invite a BUYER or SELLER INTO YOUR HOUSE no matter what unless YOU KNOW HIM e.g even if I have a deal with even an old member I wont invite him to my house unless I PERSONALY know him. Instead I will meet him at places mentioned in point 4, or if the nature of deal is such that a proper meeting place must be arranged(like dealing computer parts) I will invite him to MY OFFICE or any other RELATIVES office.

6)DO NOT let anyone hold your stuff and go OUT OF SIGHT even if hes going inside his home to show the phone/stuff to him mama.

7)AVOID meeting someone at NIGHT. ALWAYS ARRANGE your meetings in the morning or noon.

Please keep on adding more suggestions.
