Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan reunite for intense drama in Maula
The much-awaited trailer for the upcoming Bilal Lashari movie The Legend of Maula Jatt released on Friday night and people are going bonkers over the trailer.

From the trailer, we can tell that the Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi starrer is going to be a hit among the youngsters.

Directed by Bilal Lashari, the film also stars Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Shafqat Cheema, Nayyer Ejaz and Saima Baloch.

The action-packed trailer gave the fans a hint of what one should expect from the upcoming movie. The trailer shows Fawad Khan in his Maula Jatt person with Mahira and flashes of Abbasi as Noori Nath.

Giving us a gladiators arena feel to it with a touch of desi this is definitely a stylised update to the 1979 action film Maula Jatt, which traces the journey of a local hero who takes on a brutal gang leader. The visuals seem to have been influenced by a combination of movies including Prince of Persia, Gladiator, Assassinís Creed and Scorpion King to mention a few.

The film is said to be the most expensive Pakistani movie and will hit theatres next Eid. It will be the first Pakistani film to release on the same day in China and Pakistan
